We conducted a series of experiments to find out the best days to post on TikTok. For this, we analysed around 1000+ accounts by posting on different days and time slots to track when our videos received the most engagement. 

While Mondays are typically seen as slow days on social media, we found that TikTok users were particularly active early in the week, likely looking for a distraction from their routines.

Mondays and Wednesdays showed the highest engagement on TikTok, followed closely by Tuesdays and Saturdays.

In addition to our findings, we followed some of TikTok’s top influencers to observe their posting patterns.

We also conducted a survey by sharing a Google form with TikTok users, asking them about their preferred posting and browsing days.

The majority of respondents mentioned that Monday and Saturday are their top posting days, resembling the patterns we observed in our primary research.

Other studies, like those from Later.com and Hootsuite, also show that user activity spikes on weekends and mid-week, further supporting our findings. So, while Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are popular, Monday is surprisingly strong for engagement, too.
