These posts could have rich formatting options, including bold and italicized text, bullet points, and images.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduced \u2013 Originally launched in 2006.<\/li>\n<li>Purpose \u2013 Allowed users to share longer posts beyond the character limits of regular status updates.<\/li>\n<li>Discontinued\u2013Facebook removed the Notes feature in October 2020.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike regular <a href=\"https:\/\/socialbu.com\/blog\/schedule-facebook-posts-with-socialbu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook posts<\/a>, Notes resembled blog articles and were often used for detailed announcements, personal reflections, or storytelling.
